I Remind You ("the App") is developed by McMewa Pharma LLP ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

The App stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Reminder titles, descriptions, dates, and times
• Categories you create
• App settings and preferences (theme, snooze duration, default reminder time, voice announcement preference)
• Game scores (Sudoku, 2048, Memory Match, Tic-Tac-Toe)

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on external servers. All reminder and settings data remains on your device.

Information Collected by Third Parties

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google AdMob may collect the following information:

• Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
• IP address
• Device information (model, operating system version)
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

2. How We Use Your Information

• Reminders & Notifications: Your reminder data is used solely to schedule local notifications and voice announcements on your device.
• Backup & Restore: The App provides local backup and restore functionality. Backup files are stored on your device's storage and are not uploaded to any server.
• Advertisements: Google AdMob uses collected data to serve relevant ads. We display banner ads, interstitial ads, rewarded ads, and native ads within the App.

3. Data Storage & Security

All your data is stored locally on your device using an encrypted SQLite database. We do not have access to your data. If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data will be deleted.

4. Permissions

The App requests the following permissions:

• Notifications: To send reminder alerts and voice announcements at scheduled times.
• Exact Alarms: To ensure reminders fire at the precise scheduled time.
• Vibration: To provide haptic feedback for alarm notifications.
• Boot Completed: To reschedule reminders after device restart.
• Storage (Android 9 and below): To save and restore backup files.
• Microphone (Voice Reminders, English only): Used only when you tap the floating mic button on the home screen to dictate a reminder. Audio is captured by the device and immediately converted to text by your phone's speech-to-text service — it is never stored, transmitted, or shared by I Remind You. The microphone is active only during the listening session and stops as soon as you tap Stop or pause speaking. You can deny this permission at any time and the rest of the app continues to work normally.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The advertisements shown may be subject to Google's policies regarding ad personalization.

6. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob: For displaying advertisements. Google Privacy Policy
• Android Text-to-Speech: For voice announcements. This service runs entirely on your device with no data sent externally.
• Android Speech Recognition (Voice Reminders, English only): When you tap the mic button on the home screen, the App uses your phone's built-in speech-to-text service (typically Google Speech Services) to convert what you say into text. Audio is handled by this OS-level service — I Remind You only receives the recognized text. Whether the speech-to-text service runs on-device or in the cloud depends on your phone's settings; refer to your device manufacturer's privacy policy for that service.

7. Your Choices

• You can disable notifications in your device's system settings.
• You can disable voice announcements in the App's settings.
• You can deny microphone permission to disable voice-add reminders entirely.
• You can opt out of personalized ads via your device's ad settings (Settings > Google > Ads).
• You can delete all your data by uninstalling the App.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
